Morningside United Church is a community church in the Morningside neighbourhood of Edinburgh, Scotland. We are a thriving congregation of people interested in participating in a diverse religious community in Edinburgh. Membership includes long-term residents and recent immigrants, families and singles, students, working and retired membership.
Morningside United is in the Reformed tradition. It is in membership of the United Reformed Church and the Church of Scotland and has close ecumenical associations with partner churches in our community.
We believe in an open congregation - we invite all who want to ask questions about the faith, or simply to belong to a family of loving Christian people to "come in and sit down". Inclusiveness is, we hope, for us not simply a word or a concept but just what we practise.
