The Rev. Fran Ruthven is a native of Rockland, Massachusetts and grew up in the nurture of the Rockland Congregational Church. She received her B.A. degree in Religion from the University of Georgia and her M.Div. from Harvard Divinity School.  Fran also holds a Th.M. degree from Columbia Theological Seminary (PCUSA) in Decatur, Georgia. 

Fran was ordained to the Christian Ministry in 1985 and has served as a seminary administrator, faculty member, and pastor in Massachusetts, Georgia and North Carolina. In 1994 she developed a specialty in Interim Ministry. She has also served as a consultant to churches and church related non-profits.  

Fran works with us under the Special Category Ministry scheme of the United Reformed Church, and is also on the staff of the Scottish United Reformed and Congregational College.
